I recently had my first experience at the uptown cheapskate store. I went in and picked out a few cute and tasteful little items. I’m excited to go back and get more. I think this might become my new favorite store. It was well worth the price. I highly recommend checking it out. Just don’t tell too many people, or you won’t have anything left for yourself! ?

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This store overprices EVERYTHING, mislabels their clothing brands, and charges more than the retail price. It’s insane. Do NOT buy anything from here.

In response to their comment:
This isn’t the first item that I have found that is overpriced. Do not buy anything from this store unless you have to. They price more than you can get it online…and they’re USED clothes. This business is horrible and loves to leech money off the donations and customers.

During this particular visit, all the employees were engaged and friendly, smiled and spoke and were helpful. They didn’t even act annoyed when I had over 10 items to try on. And I found some cute workout shirts!

I have no record of texts, calls or emails from Uptown, excepting the email notifying me that my sale had been pushed to store credit. I confirmed that I had received no notification with a nice employee, in store, after searching for the system phone number in my texts and e-mails. While I was there, she also attempted to send a text to my phone that never came through. Since something in their system failed and I wasn't contacted, they pushed my cash to store credit and threw away the drawer my clothes were in. Now I have to buy a new set of plastic drawers. I am not really interested in selling here again. This is the second time I have been told I was sent a notification but did not receive a notification from their system when my order was completed. Luckily, last time I was able to find out and get to the store before they trashed my container and pushed it to store credit. I'm minus $63 for this.

I recently visited this store and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff. Everything was incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The store had a wide variety of high-quality items at great prices. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and plan to return often!

The place is clean the staff pretty friendly. I sold here A few times . I notice A pattern at this particular location. I feel like when you’re black they lowball you or they wont even take your stuff. I have really nice stuff thats in season and nice . They never ever offer no more than $27 dollars for My things. Or they would say the shoes nice but it has a small stain which you really cant tell. I wont go there anymore . If you black just go to Platos closet . This place is not worth it at all

Went on a Monday afternoon around 2pm to sell a bunch of stuff that didn’t fit anymore and they quoted me a 1.5 hour wait. I was listening for my name and heard a bunch of names that were not mine. When I finally asked, they said they called my name already. It was a complete waste of 2 hours of my life. Maybe one of the other locations are better. We still have a giant box of clothes left, but we think we’re better off dropping it off at a donation box somewhere

Today was dollar day and it was a mad house. Lots of great deals & the staff (particularly the young lady handling the changing rooms) dealt with customers in such a patient way despite some nastiness from them. Kudos to the workers for dealing with the madness with good attitudes.
