We have done two significant projects with Steve on our house, and I would fully recommend him.

We gutted half our house and redesigned the layout, which included structural changes. Years later we did a big flood mitigation basement project. Two very different project - both well designed, well executed and have stood the test of time.

He is highly responsive and professional. It’s pretty clear in conversations he has all the experience you are looking for. When you need ideas, he has them. If you have your own ideas, he listens and accommodates. If your ideas are unworkable, he’ll gently tell you why and offer alternatives.

Through the bidding process, Steve introduced us to a GC who delivered both projects on time (or early) and on budget. Steve was also expert when it came to dealing with the town/building department.

It’s common to hear people in town talk negatively about their house projects, and yet we only have had great experiences. I believe Steve was a big reason for that. We’ll be using him as architect for any future projects.
