St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store - Kenmore, Washington

Not the most organized thrift store I’ve ever been too.. but I found great items the two times I’ve stopped by. Employees appear to busy at work as well.
The young brunette woman working the register has been super pleasant to visit with. My fragile items were always wrapped and a bag is provided. Some things are a little overpriced but it seems like they revisit items that sit for awhile and knock a few bucks off.
I’ve found a few gems for a good price and I’m pretty cheap.

I visited this location to properly dispose of a TV and sound bar. They are one of several local places who participate in E-Cycle WA, a program that accepts electronics. Follow the "Donation" sign to the back of the building where an employee will greet you and unload your items. Very easy process.

Pros: this location is easy to access despite being near a busy road.
They have decent prices when compared to stores like value village and good will.
Unfortunately, the staff likes to lock the doors 10 minutes early, and will hound you out the door with five minutes to close.
If they were open outside of 10-5 they'd get so much more business, and rushing potential customers is a great way to make sure they don't come back.
Unfortunate that a company associated with good charity work isn't making a larger effort to support their cause.

My every weekend mist visit store from time to time ! Personally I prefer this store than goodwill ! Goodwill is very tricky (they change their tags over night I think !when it comes to discount ! But this store is very honest about giving you the discount which I appreciate a lot ! They do have gems in the store ! People working here are very friendly ! Would be nice if they got a bathroom for the public ! I won’t complain for the opportunity they offer to us for getting what we need to get ! Big thank you shout out for this store !

really kind staff, other reviews said they were rude but I had nothing but kindness. The prices are a bit high but I found some good items & they do have half price days on certain tags. I’d say it’s worth stopping by !

Once in a while I’ll find a good deal so I stop in often, but otherwise items are priced high. Whoever is tagging clothes needs a lesson on where to put tags. This damages product unnecessarily and is really frustrating. Through a seam or tag, please!

The prices on media just went up again, but half of the signage around the store still shows the old prices, so I ended up putting back most of what I would have purchased. When are these thrift stores going to learn that jacking up prices won't make up for dropping sales? You will continue to chase off your regular customers, including me.

Their drop off area is too small and you have to do a 4 point turn with a regular sized vehicle to even get out. Don't even try to go here with a trailer. They will likely cherry pick through your stuff as they are very selective in what they take. When they've done that to me in the past I just tell them to put it all back into my vehicle and then I go to Value Village. I do not recommend.....
