I was in search of workout apparel and came across numerous items that were in almost new condition. One thing I appreciate is the ability to try on the clothes, which is a perfect score for me.

The girls at this place are incredibly kind, especially Litzy. If you carefully read some of the reviews here, you'll realize they don't make sense. However, I did notice that the clothes I saw were reasonably priced and in good condition. Therefore, it is only logical to assume that if you are selling clothing, ensure that the items are suitable for people to wear.

I had a positive experience and I value excellent customer service and quality. This consignment store fulfilled my requirements and met my expectations.

I recently visited Plato's Closet and had an amazing experience! The store is well-organized, making it easy to browse through their extensive collection of trendy and gently-used clothing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or help I needed. I was impressed by the high quality of the items, name brands and the cheap prices. It's a fantastic place to find stylish outfits without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Plato's Closet to anyone looking for great deals on fashionable clothing!

Don’t waste your time. Doesn’t matter how nice the clothes are or what condition or brand. They only buy 5% of the items you bring in…. I brought 34 items, barely worn of course, no stains or holes… They took 6 items and offered $20. Save yourself the trip. Find another shop. You will be going home with all your stuff. I promise you

To put it short, while they were nice (hence the 2 stars), I went to sell and they rejected all my items. They said that my clothes were outdated with trends and had wear and tear. Also stains. I disagreed with the judgement (brands I had: PacSun, Levi, Zara, etc) and took my clothes to the store in north palm beach. The other location ended up taking six of my items and giving me $27. I’m aware that some of my items were probably not in selling condition and that’s okay, but even while I was there I looked at a couple items on the rack that did have stains and wear and tear just as bad if not worse than my items. Genuinely, it was a waste of my time, plus gas, to come to this location.

Also side note, again I’ll stress that the woman who did check my clothes was polite, but she was definitely older than Plato’s closet target demographic and it showed with the items she rejected and the items that were on the rack. At the other location I went to, there were younger people who in my opinion, were able to identify what’s “trending”.

The issue with stores that buy and sell like this is opinions and judgments of clothing are all objective. So keep that in mind I guess.

This is the 3rd Platos location I've visited and by far the nicest and the most efficient yet. The 2 females working at the counter were very helpful and very good at what they do. Highly recommend! DO NOT GO TO THE BOYNTON LOCATION THEY ARE A TOTAL DISASTER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!

Staff was not friendly. I brought my clothes there they didn’t even look at them and decided they smelt like smoke. I do not smoke. They were incredibly rude about it and when I said I don’t smoke they just continued arguing with me, pushing the container of items I brought in my face. That SAME day right before that I went to the Palm Beach location and they went through my stuff and bought 14 items they did not say any of my items smelled. Clearly the “workers” at Wellington are lazy and liars. Also almost all the clothes at Wellington had a stench to them and lots of items had stains and markings on them.
It is trash avoid it at all costs.
Update: the same woman (if I can call it that) has been rude to my friends who I send in there. Don’t go here at all

I really liked this store. Everything is very nice and clean inside, the employees are very friendly and helpful. In the store you can find clothes of any size and for any style. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. ❤️

I never write reviews but my experience at the Plato’s in Wellington was something I didn’t expect from a teen clothing store. It was my first time at this location with my daughters and reading through the previous reviews, I can see why there’s a couple regarding rude behavior. The way an employee with the green shirt talked to her coworkers was vulgar and appalling to hear and watch. The scene she caused in the middle of the store was something I never experienced at a store before. The entire time we were there it was uncomfortable as another store employee slammed a door closed and was acting almost as rude as the girl in the green. All though the store seemed to be tidy and had good items, I don’t recommend anyone go here and consider a different location as it seems that type of behavior is accepted in the store. Only two employees were left after the altercation to help us and they were running the store alone. Don’t recommend, listen to the bad ratings regarding rude behavior. They are correct
