Pavement pays a better cash rate than any other buy/sell/trade chain (Buffalo, Uptown Cheapskate, etc). What they buy varies a lot season to season, but their buyers have always been polite and communicative. They call you when they’re done looking through your stuff so you don’t need to wait on site.

This location has a great selection of shoes in particular (awesome 5$ shelves). Also tons of men’s clothes, which can be rarer for secondhand shops.
Huge variety of styles but I’d say it leans grungy and eclectic, not a lot of basics or luxury stuff here. Great place to look for standout pieces and always fun to browse.

The clothes can be stained or have minor tears, so check things closely if you care about that.

Good selection of clothing for a reasonable price. Very well lit, staff was reasonably friendly. Change rooms are big however it would be awesome if the curtains had some hooks on them or something as mine didn’t fully close all the way because the fabric was bent over- so it didn’t feel very private as anyone walking by could easily see in.

They will not allow you to use their bathroom.
Fun store, it’s just another Buffalo Exchange type place.
The issue was, we had a bathroom emergency come up while shopping and they wouldn’t let us use the bathroom and instead sent us down the road to Starbucks.

I love this location, lots of unique options and the staff is so nice! Kamrey especially was a delight, she handled the clothes I was selling with such care and was so incredibly kind. Definitely the place to go over Buffalo Exchange!

I can’t make sense of their selection process when buying clothes over the counter. The selection in the store was… questionable, but all of the items they decided to buy from me were some of the items I expected to have to bring back home so I guess that tracks? Idk, I just expected some more love for the high quality clothing I brought in. Having had extensive resale-retail experience myself, I was quite surprised to see what items were passed on being that they were all brand new/barely worn Abercrombie, Free People and Urban Outfitters articles.

Two stars because homegirl w the curly hair and cool tattoos was chill. But idk that I’ll be back :/

Do not try to sell here. They took 1 hour when they told me 30 minutes. Then when I went to pick it up they said that they didn’t want anything. When I looked at my 2 full trash bags, they looked untouched. Not a single sign to tell me they looked at anything. I also had high end clothing in there. I wanted to ask but I felt rushed out. Waste of time and very rude service. Don’t recommend buying here either.

I went in looking only for sunglasses and jewelry. I came out with a whole lot more - cute dress, long rompers, and it was all moderately priced. This Free People romper was $16. I’m 5’9” and currently wear a 12/14 L/XL. I found plenty of things in my sizes. Shoe selection is a bit lacking if you’re a 10.5+. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Austin.

Pavement is where it is at and if you love vintage, just go! We visited after celebrating a friend’s birthday next door and it was an incredible way to wrap up our time together.

Felicity, Felix, and Maddy took incredible care of us and even got creative to help me take home my favorite find of the day! Thank y’all!

They have rows and rows of vintage items, fun patterns and colors that I usually wouldn’t pick out, but hey! That’s the fun of it. Oh, and the huge purple mirrors and murals on the walls make every outfit look better than what you’d expect. The perfect vintage exploration experience!

The incredible team took care of us at every point, from the dressing rooms all the way through check out!

Stop reading reviews and just go to pavement already!
