We have been going to Dr. Johnson for so many years, we cannot remember, and he is simply the best. The best thing about Dr. Johnson, besides being a terrific doctor, is his sense of humor and how open and honest he is. While I personally am not a big fan of going to any type of doctor, I can say I enjoy my yearly eye exam simply because of my personal interaction with Dr. Johnson. His office is conveniently located near the Pecos offramp of the I215, inside a small business complex. Another aspect we like about Dr. Johnson, he is respectful of our time, and we rarely find having to wait to be seen, usually you are inside before your scheduled appointment time. We would also like to give kudos to Stephanie, who is such a wonderful person, friendly, warm and always making you feel special, thank you Stephanie. If you need an eye doctor, we highly recommend Dr. Johnson and his professional staff.

I absolutely love Dr. Johnson’s office. I can’t speak more highly of this practice. I have been coming here for years and I will continue to go until I literally can’t. Dr. Johnson is so kind and patient and calm. He is thorough and incredibly smart and experienced. The staff is so kind and friendly and the techs are bubbly and personable. Also, if I have ever had an emergency, they’ve always been able to get me in within an acceptable timeframe. Truly can’t speak highly enough of this team.

My family has been going to Dr. Johnson for around four years. Not only does he have remarkable skill, he genuinely cares about his patients. The atmosphere in his office is one of a kind, and his consistent personable visits are wonderful. By far the best eye doctor I’ve ever been to. His staff is absolutely amazing, too.

I've only ever had excellent care and great customer service. Dr. Johnson thoroughly explains my results at every visit and has even suggested alternative help for my eye floaters. He is detailed during his exam and all questions or concerns I've ever had have been given adequate time and attention. Staff are friendly and very helpful in frame selection. I only have good experiences when I go and I always recommend this office to my friends and family when someone is looking for a new provider.

I have been a patient of Paul Johnson for at least 8+ years. From the very first time I visited his office, I have always been treated like family. The office staff is super cool, and have worked for Mr. Johnson for many years. He has such a great up-beat attitude, and really great eye care. He goes over every detail with you, including showing you your eyeballs. Really, it's amazing the #technology he has there at the office! He also has a great line of eye-wear, and I've always received outstanding follow up visits as well. I will be his patient until he retires, and hopefully that will not be for many more years to come! 5-Star!

Wow. What an amazing experience my son and I had yesterday. This was our first time at this office. The staff was very friendly and fast. Dr Johnson was very informative and explained EVERYTHING throughout our exam. He made jokes and had us both laughing all the while explaining what he was doing during the exam. While leaving the office my son actually said “that was fun” lol. Dr Johnson also fixed my son old glasses “no charge” So he can wear them until the new ones are ready. Awesome Awesome experience here !!!

Dr. Johnson's exam was thorough and probably worth the $108 I paid with good technology and clear explanation. However, I would strongly recommend after the exam, you don't purchase the eyeglasses at the office and take your prescription elsewhere to be fulfilled. The price for glasses there is of course not low but more importantly the service is poor. Fulfillment of the glasses took 2 weeks vs half the time elsewhere. The normal procedure is that you just pick up your glasses from reception with no adjustment. They don't check ID so anyone can pick up your glasses. If you do require an adjustment to your glasses which I do, they make you make another appointment so you need to run over a third time on another day - so inefficient. They don't explain this process ahead of time to save you time and effort and they are not empathetic to your situation. Disappointed considering the prices I paid.

I am very sensitive about the provider I want taking care of my vision. I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old. I have worn glasses and contacts both until I opted to have Lasik done in 2000. I was thrilled with my results but have started needing something for every day wear again. I am still fairly new to the area and had gone some place different based on recommendations from co-workers because they knew they accepted our insurance. They no longer accept our insurance so I had to find someone new. I chose Dr. Johnson because he was close to home. I was so happy with my visit and getting very thorough answers to all my questions concerning my previous procedure and family history that I immediately made appointments for my parents. The staff is very courteous and help too.
