The guys downstairs are fantastic. They have tons of used parts and bikes to pick through and they never mind when you poke around for an hour.
We've donated 5 bikes to their programs and will continue to do so. MER offers a lot of opportunities to further fitness and biking in the area.

This place is definitely not what it once was. I went in today to buy a bike for my daughter and I’m not sure I’ve ever been more ignored in my life. I asked the “bike guy” about a bike and he gave me no real answer whatsoever. So, I stood there and googled all my questions and bought the bike. I would not recommend this place and I don’t intend on going back again.

Great deals on high quality used outdoor gear and a great place to consign or donate your old gear when your done with it.

They have a full service bike shop with some of the best mechanics in town and the bike shop side (The Pedal Station) supports the local nonprofit Kids on Bike by providing resources to get more kids riding as well as getting bikes to kids with in underserved communities. All around great deals for a great cause and if you geek out on old bike stuff like I do you’re bound to find some gems.

Great local shop. Cool, helpful, and patient staff. I was able to get onto several bikes and ride around so I could choose what felt best. Very reasonable prices and overall good vibe in the store.

I am definitely a beginner, so if you're looking for a welcoming and helpful place, this is it. Also, clearly a place for seasoned vets and outdoor enthusiasts. Definitely recommend!

Just moved to COS and I needed a bike for my 6'2" teenager. They were so helpful and fit a solid used bike to him, showed him how to care for it, gave it a tune-up, and answered all our questions. Excellent service, kind people. Definitely will go again, and always happy to support a local business like this.

I have to say I was highly disappointed walking in today. I’ve been coming here for many years now, and the previous location off S. Tejon. Always been the place to go to get good quality, name brand items for great prices. I noticed today on men’s clothing probably somewhere between a 20-30% increase on clothing that I regularly purchase there. Had some very nice items that I would normally have snagged right away cause of the great pricing but it was OBVIOUS today that either someone new is doing the pricing or they’ve just increased in general. Sad because that’s what’s happened everywhere you go all over the retail landscape but you hope the places you know and love don’t do it. But MER did. If there’s a response from MER, please don’t bother with the lesson in economics and inflation, and everything else going up in price. This is simply about the principal of it, not all that stuff.
