My mom and I visited a few weeks ago and cannot wait to be back ASAP. They have a wonderful variety of shoes, clothes, and accessories that caters to all styles, ages, etc.!

The best designer consignment in NYC! Love Frank and Jonathan whom are both superstars with amazing knowledge of vintage wear and are always helpful showing pieces they currently have in store. Selection is also fabulous and gets in new pieces frequently. An NYC treasure and has been my favorite place to shop in NYC for 10+ years!

And please do not listen to the negative reviews on here! The customer service is the best and all their employees are always very friendly and helpful! Their store all around is a wonderful place to shop 10/10 customer service and selection and prices you can’t beat!

Hi, I haven't been to the store but want to buy a handbag ($150-200) for my mom. I read the reviews and not that I believe them but wanted to ensure it there's something in that range and as a male I'll be allowed. I also need to send her a picture of the bag to show her and then I can buy it if she likes.

RACIST TRASH the shop attendant wouldn’t even let me in because I’m a black male. She screamed through the door “we only have women’s clothes!!” After I told her “That’s fine, I’m a personal shopper” she told me they were closed. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such obvious discrimination but I’m fine with taking my business and my clients elsewhere. Wish there was a lower rating than one star!

I love this place! This is my favorite secret thrift spot in the UES. They have amazing prices for top designers, and anything you’ll find is top quality. The employees are attentive and help set up a fitting room for you if/when needed. All three items I’d bought still had tags as well.

The man working here is so rude. It’s as if he doesn’t want anyone coming in.
First time I came in he basically snuffed me and didn’t even say hi when I did.
Second time my husband has a small backpack on and was about to walk upstairs -we were talking so didn’t notice the sign that says in small letters no backspaces upstairs - yells at us “CAN YOU NOT READ” we were shocked. This is no way to treat customers. It was a simple oversight.
Have this place 2 shots and never again. Everything is extremely overpriced anyway.

Not the best experience. I walked in and was not greeted. My daughter realized their were additional items upstairs. As I was going up stairs to assist her...the associate stopped me because I had a book bag on and quickly told me I needed to check my bag. That there was a sign letting me know. My daughter immediately came back down and told me she was completed. She later explained that there were two females up stairs with oversized bags upstairs. I asked for a card and instead of placing it in my hand, the associate placed it on the counter. It was a weird experience and I guess selective on who is allowed to have big bags on them. I will not recommend.

I'm interested to hear the response from the owner; as it seems like he is rude in that department when I read reviews.

Edited to respond to owners response: Oddly he brings up race! I did not see the sign until you told me that large bags were not allowed up stairs as I was heading up the stairs(3 steps in)! I actually was going to check it in. Remember I said oh, my wallet is in there and you said you just wanted the big bag and it will be behind the counter. Oh, how quickly you forgot that I was going to check it in AFTER your informed me of the rule. I decided against going up because of the stairs and I had no interest in anything you had. I stood in front of you the whole time by the door once you made me aware of your policy!

You never spoke to my family until I was heading upstairs. If that was such a BIG policy, that would be one of the first things you mentioned, along with % off throughout the store, etc. You know...CUSTOMER SERVICE! Instead you were NOT friendly. Calling my 16 year old(not saying its not possible) a liar is so cute. Yet, she was not aware of what took place downstairs. She provided me with those details after I told her WHY I didn't not go upstairs. Please work on your customer service. I am sure the negative ones are not just one offs. I am sure other's have had great experiences, but there will be some bad! Have a great day!
