I bought a car a few years ago and it turned out to be a great car until my son had a wreck. I went back about a month ago and bought another car because they told me the first time that they buy cars and check them out, so they can help people. I bought a Buick Encore for 4000.00 and after a few days oil was leaking everywhere. I was told the gasket, so I paid 300.00 for that, then come to find out it was the turbo charger, so I paid almost 4000. 00 to fix that. Now after the turbo charger was fixed the whole thing is jacked up, it messed up the catalytic converter , so that will have to be replaced $$$$. I have tried calling them several times, but I get no answer. Never again will I recommend this place. I would advise against buying from them. I was screwed over.

My son saved up to buy his first car from this lot. He had the car about a month and the transmission went out. The guy refused to do anything to help him. He had us take the car to Charleston Auto for a diagnosis then once we found out it needed a transmission we never heard from him again. This place is a joke! And from the looks of the other reviews this has happened multiple times. He doesn't stand behind his products.

BUYERS BEWARE** About a month ago I purchased a 2014 Ford Fiesta from this seller. The vehicle performed well on the test drive, however, about one week later the vehicle’s check engine light came on, and the vehicle would not start. I was able to get the vehicle started a few times, but experienced a lot of jerking back and forth during automatic gear shifts that was not normal and genuinely seemed unsafe. I then had it towed to a local mechanic, who informed me after several hours of diagnosis, that the transmission was missing its third and fifth gear. The cost of the repair is honestly not much less than what I initially paid for the vehicle, as it would need a completely new transmission and install. As far as I am concerned this is blatantly fraudulent behavior, and I am now out thousands of dollars because I unfortunately made the mistake of doing business with this sorry excuse for a “dealership.” Someone should sue them for making these kinds of sales, but that would be difficult due to the fact that they force you to sign an “As-is, no refunds” legal agreement with all sales. Please look elsewhere when you choose to buy a vehicle, it would be financially wise, especially considering that there are several other recent and similar reviews. If I could rate this zero stars I would, and I will never do business here again.

My 4,000 dollar car has turned into a 10 thousand dollar car because of all the repairs that have and are being made on this car. Haven't even had it 3 months. Check engine light came on 3 days after purchasing which leads me to believe they cleared the codes just so they could sell it.

We have bought 5 vehicles at L& L and have not had any issues with any of them. I have always took them out for a quick 10-30 minute test drive before I truly consider buying. This guy has had issues with people taking his cars and not bringing them back for days. When you take a test drive, it doesn't take more than 30 minutes to take a decent one. I don't know where people have come up with the idea someone sticks a plate on a vehicle, you have possession of it for days automatically. That sure isn't what I was taught!
The dealer puts that plate on a vehicle so you can take it and see how it drives. He is not giving up you a free rental car. There is no such of thing!!
You take that car and keep it for days is called theft!
So don't be surprised when police come knocking on your door.
Please visit L&L auto out on Route 21. These folks get some very nice vehicles in on their lot. Just because 1 or 2 people may pick a bad vehicle, I'm sure there are 5-10 that would tell you about the great vehicle they got.

My family has bought cars from him for years. Timmy is an honest salesman with great prices. He and his wife are super friendly and down to earth..easy to deal with. He wrote me a personal check for a part that failed out on my vehicle and my warranty had already been up for a few days. If you are looking for a car in this price range- i definitely reccomend buying from him!

Everything I was told by the sales person/owner was accurate. Everything he said he would do, he did do.
