A lot of boring, run of the mill, overpriced junk. I bought one thing -- a toy. The deceitful seller had rigged the parts into place and then tightly wrapped it in plastic so it couldn't fall apart. The seller deliberately hid the fact that it was broken. I got nothing for my money. I'll never waste my time at JBF again.

As always, a huge selection of used kids' items were at the sale. Unless you are looking for something in particular, you might wait until Saturday when many items are half off.
It would be forward looking of them to find an alternative to the massive plastic bags they use at check out (an environmental nightmare). I also wonder about their choice of school to receive their donation - maybe a Title 1 school would be a better choice? There are 7 in SVVSD.

This is the best thing. They have great prices on used clothes and everything baby. We always find stuff for our kids that is gently used and great prices. We would never buy toys or clothes anywhere else. My wife looks forward to going every few months. We spend a couple hundred bucks and walk away with bags full of stuff for the kids. We bought a beautiful large rocking horse for less than $20, carters baby clothes for about $5. We bought a moby wrap for $10. This is a great resource for any parent. We are so happy that these exist

It's cool, lots and lots of clothes, toys, costumes, strollers etc., Sometimes lots of screaming kids and my own were driving me crazy too. Best to go w/o kids so you can take your time but kids are welcomed there. They have push carts and bags to load up during your shopping trip. A great event to find good deals.

I've been a part of this sale for more than 5 years and love everything about it! You can find some absolutely amazing deals, especially on the last day when everything labeled "donate" without a star is 75% off. I typically go on the 1st day of the sale to get specific items I'm looking for and the last day to get awesome deals. There are absolutely those people who kinda ruin it by buying new, clearance or sale items and resell them at a low price which isn't what a consignment sale is supposed to be about but again, the majority are families getting rid of outgrown clothes, toys, games, shoes, maternity clothing, decor, EVERYTHING that make it worth the trip! ^_^ Expect to spend at least an hour here going through clothing one by one but totally worth it! 😀
Selling items is just as amazing! It's absolutely a lot of work and time consuming to present and tag things correctly but you know you'll have a large number of people looking! I've made some big bucks each time especially when selling bigger, high demand items. Highly recommend!

It's ok. Most of the stuff are expensive for being second hand. If you don't go there in the first day, there's not a lot left. I prefer to go to Once Upon a Child: prices are better and they always have very good deals.

I love going to JBF sales! It makes very little sense to me to pay full price on things my kiddo will wear a few times and then pass on to another kiddo. You still have to be a little choosy when looking through the racks at JBF (some people put in very well-loved and slightly threadbare items), but I've found extraordinary deals there on items that are both new and gently used, and my lil guy isn't even a year old yet. A babysitter might be a good idea to keep your kiddos from running amok and trying to play with all the toys (there are usually tons of those as well). Also, go in knowing what you need to look for (ie, you have plenty of onesies in the next size but need several footed jammies) or you could easily be overwhelmed by the variety of choices.
