So many books, so little time. If you live in the Denver area consider yourself blessed. This bookstore has a wide variety of all genres, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
My husband and I do a bookstore crawl every time we visit somewhere.
Denver beats San Antonio, Austin, Houston, L.A., Portland, D.C., and Philly.

Colorado’s Used Bookstore includes various genres of books and arranges each topic alphabetically by author’s last name. That makes finding books easy and stress-free.

Besides being well-organized, the shop is clean and well-lit. The smell of books is wonderful. And the owners, Jo (the wife) and Barry (the husband), we’re friendly, cordial, and helpful.

There’s street parking. When I went today, hours were limited. The bookstore opened at 2 pm. So beware of the hours and plan for that.

It’s worth the trip.

My daughter needs countless books for school and they are usually sold out everywhere by the time we shop for them. I drove past Colorados used book store one day, went inside and they happened to have the book she needed at the time. This is a small business owned by a husband a wife, the customer service was immaculate and you can’t beat the prices. Please support this shop!

Was a regular at the previous location (which was on the east side of Broadway), which was a touch disorganized but always had a bunch of interesting stuff. Also near my old apartment so I would walk there once a week to peruse books. This new location is fantastic. Well organized books and sections, they are top notch.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, they fielded a few questions like pros. I bought a few books with their help.

Street parking is a little iffy, there is a lot behind the store that you can use. I'd recommend that. Also lots of diners and things in the area too and the area is way nicer then when I lived a few blocks away.

I spent close to two hours in here today just soaking in all of the books around me. I’ve always been an avid reader and, growing up in Missouri, my grandma always used to take me to used bookstores. This lovely little store made me feel so nostalgic and the owners were so kind. Despite browsing for so long I never felt rushed or like I was in the way. I cannot wait to make another trip back.
P.S. I also really enjoyed some of the covers on some of the of the older mass market paperbacks. My husband and I got quite a giggle out of a few of them.
