Crossroads Trading in Pasadena, CA is a secondhand consignment store that offers men’s, and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. The inventory on the floor was in excellent slightly used condition. This store had a nice selection of men’s shoes, Vans and Air Jordan’s! Great store! Staff was busy… lots of customers to service!

I had a frustrating experience at Crossroads. I waited over an hour before the cashier finally called me. After evaluating my items, she selected a dress, a coat, and a pair of leather boots, offering me $20 for all three. Since I didn’t care for the dress and coat, I decided to keep the boots and asked how much they’d give for the rest. She said $13, so I went to cash out. When I returned to collect my items, I realized she had taken the boots. I explained that I wasn’t selling the boots, but she looked at me like I was crazy and said her manager would help.

The manager took her time, chatting with another employee, despite me standing there waiting. When she finally addressed me, she said, “You should’ve let us know you weren’t selling this item.” I was stunned since I did tell the cashier. At that point, I was so annoyed I just repeated myself, and she stopped talking. Overall, the experience was chaotic and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

This place genuinely sucks. The employees are always talking having the time of their life's. While they have people wait over an hour just to tell the person the person they are only taking tapered pants. And said my other bbc ice cream pants were damp. How could the pants be damp. But ok . I also got my turn skipped and this ridiculous girl wearing cheetah print pants looking like a damn leopard looking like she wanna disappear with those Camouflage pants did not do anything about it. After she seen I was skipped she started working a bit faster. But I still waited and it was just a waste of time. Horrible christmas experience and this isn't the first time. Something should be done. Hire new employees who actually help and are not just wasting others people time. I could hear them laughing etc. As if people aren't patiently waiting. I wasn't the only one disappointed.

This place is incredibly slow, and they refuse to hire more staff, constantly blaming their delays on being ‘understaffed.’ The employees, mostly teenagers, seem uninterested in their jobs and lack a proper work ethic. If you’re considering selling your clothes here, don’t bother—it’s not worth the time or frustration.

Smaller store size. Selection not as good as the Melrose location. The store does g etc a lot of foot traffic. Do not be surprised bringing in items to be sold and not being accepted. Seen a lot of bags coming in and going right back out. They are very selective on the gear they purchase. The mark up on items purchased are pricey. Dressing rooms are open. The men's section is very limited for clothing and shoes. Mainly Smaller sizes in men. Display case is small. Parking is tough. Paid Parking lot next door. Paid street parking. Pretty busy in this area.

It's almost like they purposely hire the snobbiest people they can find. I've tried selling brand name clothes here multiple times, and each time the employee made sure to turn me down in the rudest way possible (one of them actually made an "ew" face as she told me that she didn't find anything worth selling in my bag). I've also noticed some not-so-hidden racism/fatphobia from the employees from the way they speak to me and others. Add that to their 3% surcharge, and the fact that the stuff that does make it to the racks is usually old, stained, and with holes, and it's just gotten to be too much to deal with. I've lived in Pasadena my entire life, and this place used to be a nice place to shop. Guess their heads got too big. And really, at the end of the day, I'm just left wondering why they accepted the stained blue underwear I found in the activewear, but not people's brand name clothes (as you can see from the rest of the reviews with similar experiences) lmfao

For the quality of clothes available, I wouldn’t say the prices are fair but also not terrible. My significant other was able to find some pieces of clothing she was happy with, just felt like the overall quality of clothes and options for its previous usage should have a lower value/price.

Meh. I haven't bought anything here but there is some cute stuff around. Everything I tried on last time had something wonky about it which is why I hesitate to thrift in the first place. Maybe check their selling guide but even with bringing in season-appropriate items with very good condition items, I have only made like $10 out of multiple attempts. It's not worth sitting around for an hour.
