First things first, I'm happier than a swine in feces. Thank you to Carl and his entire staff for all the help, I felt welcomed and respected by all. I love to spend my money with the locals of Ventura County, let's keep our money in the VC Hood. It was awesome to see little Carl watching his dad work, what a beautiful sight, FAMILY WORKING TOGETHER. I asked Carl for consecutive serial numbers on two 1911 S/S, he made it happen, he had three, my friend purchased one and I purchased the other two and then some. As per the negative reviews, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS, MONEY IS TIME AND TIME IS MONEY, IF YOU GOT TO ASK HOW MUCH, OR YOU WANT A BETTER PRICE, SOMETIMES IT'S JUST NOT BURGER KING, JUST CAN'T HAVE IT YOUR WAY ALL THE TIME G.T.F.O.H I PLAN TO DO MORE BUSINESS WITH CAMARILLO GUN STORE AND THE STORE I PURCHASE FROM IN OXNARD, LOYALTY, MY OPINION AND MY OPINION ONLY WE ALL HAVE OPTIONS I CHOOSE CAMARILLO GUN STORE AND MY OTHER PLACE IN OXNARD.

WOW!!!Great service by all team members. They where all very eager to help even with the simplest request for a lost plunger on my rifle. Great team great customer service. This was my first time in store and wont be last they are now my #1 choice for my guns and ammo needs. I have always gone to the local turners store but these guys are willing to lend a hand and help out. They made it very comfortable for me even though im not well versed with explanations of gun parts. Im new the gun Culture and stopping by gun stores can be intimidating, but they made me feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you all

I've been a customer for several years but not any more. My wife, son and several friends have also been long time customers. Unfortunately my opinion of the store has soured. I, my family, and several friends will no longer do business with them.
In January of 2024 I placed a deposit for a special order rifle. After waiting over 6 months they were still unable to order the rifle from their distributer. I explained that it was widely available through other sources and since the 1 July deadline imposing an additional 11% tax was coming up I needed to cancel the special order. They offered to apply my deposit toward the FFL transfer fee if I ordered online. That sounded good until I was told their fee is now $200 which is over twice the fee of any other FFL dealer in the county. Since they could not get the rifle I requested a refund of my deposit. They said NO, the best they would do is offer store credit since they would have to "EAT" the credit card transaction fee if they refunded my deposit. They even tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favor by offering me the credit. Their cost for the CC refund would have been around $5.00 depending on their merchant agreement with VISA. Obviously that $5 was more important than losing future sales in the thousands of dollars from multiple people.
I picked up some items to use the credit and walked out of the store for the last time.

This is probably gonna be my addiction from now on. Got my fsc on here. People here are so friendly i dont know why the bad reviews. They are so helpful with things. Lady at the computer is chill af and the younger tall dude chill as well and also the dude wearing a handkerchief mad chill. If you dont know anything about guns, how to purchase one, or what do you need for paperwork they will help you and give you info.
