My experience working with New Leaf Consignment has been extremely positive. The owners of the shop were so kind and so helpful, and they've been prompt in all communication and payouts. I would highly, highly recommend working with them over any other consignment shop in the area. I would give 10 stars here if I could.

On 6/7/2023, I called New Leaf because I wanted to bring women’s summer clothing
(shorts, white jeans, and small silver purse) for you to inspect and accept. I had to wait until 6/30/2023 (3 weeks later), before I could come in to the store. Then it would take several more days before the items would be on the shelves. I was disappointed that I lost so much time, but you have your rules.

After 4-6 weeks, you called or emailed me
to say only the jeans and silver purse sold and my payment would be $4.75. I requested
that you mail me the check. You said no the check has to be $5.00 or more for a check
to be mailed, but I could stop in the store and you would write me the check. For me to drive from Springfield to Madison and back
would probably use $5.00 in gas. So I never returned for the money. But you have your rules.
You wanted to hear my critique so you could
improve. I would say when someone wants
to bring in clothes, let them come in in a few days. Maybe If a payment is only going
to be for a dollar, then no check is paid and person must stop in for the dollar. Anything else though, I think you should pay and mail
the check to the person. If you feel financially that you have to subtract the cost
of a stamp, then do so. Things would be better if you made more of an effort to pay.

I have had nothing but a good experience consigning with New Leaf. The employees have always been pleasant.They clearly state what they are looking for, as well as their time line. I am thrilled if my items sell, and if not they are graciously donated, (unless specified I want them back). To me it is a win win either way, and it is gratifying to know my gently used items can still be used.

Wonderful shopping experience! The ladies were so friendly and knowledgeable about everything. I found a gorgeous vintage bag which I love and I will definitely be keeping my eye on all the new stuff that comes in.
This was my first time there and I have been telling everyone it and I will definitely be back!
Highly recommend!!!!

First of all Stephanie is the best!!!! I always have a fantastic experience with Stephanie and her great staff. I consign and shop. I have purchased great pieces that I love and get so many compliments on. The coolest thing about shopping at New Leaf is that it's like visiting with friends while you shop. Wonderful conversation and fabulous shopping, not to mention great prices. Love love love New Leaf!

Arlene, review was based on no hidden agenda that makes no sense - - just facts! There were 2 employees one tall thin very dark hair & another younger girl at the jewelry counter area neither said a word when I walked in or at any other time & there are other reviews which state how Rudely they were treated. My review is the truth on everything.

Zero on everything, Not friendly at all, Extremely high priced items that are low grade even though they state with attitude it is a high end label...yeah right with mud on the bottom of shoes priced ridiculous !! hasn't changed in years other than increased attitude and much lower quality jewelry was falling apart and there was a smell.....ewwww - plenty of better places with nice & polite people!

New Leaf is a great place to find gently-used clothing that really elevates my style. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and the store front is always such an inspiration! I go there regularly, and I always walk away with a cute outfit at an amazing price. Highly recommend!
