very unorganized, running a buy 2 get 3 discount on sweatshirts. the discount was not applied at checkout so i went back in and altered the manager.

at first it seemed the issue was an item the manager believed was untagged. it was embarrassing how quickly the manager threw the employees around us under the bus by saying “no one knows the difference between a sweater and a sweatshirt around here”. yikes, unprofessional and i felt bad for these poor, teenaged employees just standing by watching.

upon further inspection, i APPARENTLY didn’t get three “sweatshirts”, i got two sweatshirts and a “sweater” due to the “materiel” (the materiel of the alleged sweater was incredibly similar to one of the alleged sweatshirts)

i let them know how disappointing that was, as i only shopped for these “sweat-whatevers” in the section with all the promotional signs right in my face. the SWEATER aisle did not have these same signs, so i did not shop in that section.

at the end it seemed i had frustrated her (with logic about the whole situation) and she turned it around on me to say that if i ever had a confusion about this deal, i could always read the tags. i asked her how in the world that would help if the tags are wrong?

no answer to that and she refunded me a whopping $2 (i should’ve gotten back $7). not to mention the inappropriate work conversation you expect to overhear the employees engaging in at any plato’s closet. every time feliz navidad played, i heard an employee sing along “bleed on my dog”? yeah idk if this location is worth it.

If customers are complaining of cameras above the fitting rooms, which I clearly saw just two days ago, and then choose to leave them up, even if they aren't working... Maybe just take them down? Making the active decision to leave the cameras up there when people feel unsafe is baffling to me. A fifteen minute fix that no one is willing to do to make their customers feel safer. Baffling. Makes me feel unsafe too!

Usually find a few good finds each time. Since starting to sell there or attempt to that is very difficult. Like others have said they will pass on gently use namebrand items. Mine specifically were American Eagle jeans and Lululemon items that are of the same quality that is in the store and probably better than some that were hanging up. You want to buy H&M, SHEIN, forever 21 but not gently used actual name brand clothing. Some of the stuff they’ve bought to sell is Goodwill quality. Very confusing

Cameras visible from inside the dressing room? And before you guys respond about BIG MF ASH making “unsubstantiated claims” to hurt your business, maybe first acknowledge the fact that you’ve made your CUSTOMERS uncomfortable and that you’ll take measures to ensure their safety!! Don’t come after people trying to spread awareness regardless if it’s misinformation or not. That is completely unacceptable behavior from a business and you guys will no longer be getting my money.

You have cameras pointing into the dressing room.
1. In response to a poor review addressing the camera, you admit that there is a camera pointing in the dressing room, as pointed out in BIG MF ASH's video, but claim the camera is not operational. Then go on to say the content creator is trying to damage your business. This only demonstrates that BIG MF ASH's video displaying the camera pointing into the dressing room does, in fact, exist. (See screenshot)
2. Doesn't matter if the camera is operational or not, it's pointing in the dressing room.
3. Rather than address customer safety and concerns, you claim someone is trying to hurt your business by spreading misinformation without proof; but the video exists and you admitted the camera exists in your response, as displayed in the screenshot I'm attaching to this review.
Not a good look.

I think you people writing reviews about the camera in the dressing room, should call and address it first before believing a tik tok of all things. If they truly were using their own cameras, the cops would’ve shut it down asap. I called the place, got the owner, and he said that the PREVIOUS owners had the camera there, I believe that area wasn’t even a fitting room at the time? Even if, that’s the PREVIOUS owners of the building. The owner also informed me that their cameras are not anything like that one, and they would be happy to show me (and anyone else) proof of that. I believe him, and if you’re still wanting to believe a tik tok, go in yourself, like a respectful adult, and ask about it. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because I believe the marketing could be better with social media aspects, and the store could be organized better and a bit more trendy. My old store in Davenport Iowa was amazinggggg I almost worked for them to assist with social media and marketing and I miss it and wish I did it lol, and I think this place definitely has the potential to do the same, I just think it needs a bit of work with style aspect and trendier, with the amazing space they have and location.

why do yall have cameras in the dressing rooms? "installing a hidden camera in women's changing rooms constitutes a severe criminal offense. In many jurisdictions, such unauthorized surveillance is illegal and punishable by law due to its intrusive and unethical nature" do better.

I was told some of my jeans items were “out of “style “ really? Express jeans not worn, BKE jeans and tops (from The Buckle) I guess they didn’t know what they were! Flares, and boot cuts, are always in style! I was offered $14 for a small Kate Spade bag that was it. on my second trip the same day I had a bigger Kate Spade bag with a matching wallet and a Guess bag, an amazing Pink tote bag, a Victoria Secret not used stretch workout tank and I was offered $26. Please explain this to me because the handbag and wallet were current Kate Spade Spring
