He did a terrible job with my son who has eczema. First of all his nurse practitioner or at most his assistant spent 95% of the time with us. She made the diagnosis and said what the treatment should be. The doctor just came in and filled out the prescriptions. I don’t think he even reviewed it. The treatment they told us to go with had us using steroids on his skin for 5 days then stop which caused massive steroid withdrawal and destroyed his skin. We now even know you have to taper off steroids or it will come back way worse. How did they not know this?

He ended up with a bad infraction and we spent 5 day in the hospital due to the awful treatment plan we were given. This place doesn’t care and the staff was very rude as well. I would avoid this place at all costs. You pay to see a doctor and we got about 2 mins of his time and essentially none of his “expertise”.

Although I could have honestly given Dr. Hall a 5 star rating after my first visit, now that I’ve seen him about three or four more times, I am absolutely sure.

Dr. Hall is well educated, smart, relaxed, and patient. He is also easy to talk with and he listens carefully.

Let me share a story that best represents Dr. Hall’s knowledge, intelligence, and character. Here it is.

One of top issues on my list when I went to see my primary care physician (PCP) was what my veteran medical field cousin and sister and I thought was an advanced case of fingernail fungus. This condition makes your fingernails look ugly. If you looked at photos on the Internet, as I did, and compared them to my nails, you would agree as well.

My PCP, whom I respect and like, immediately diagnosed them as fingernail fungus and prescribed a medication (Terbinafine 250MG) that I’d need to take for at least three months. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacist strongly recommended that I get a blood test to check my liver function every month! Although I had recently had a complete physical that showed my liver function was normal, I became very reluctant about starting this medication.

As you can imagine, I spent hours online looking for information and patient reviews. I found that the medication is commonly used, but the side effects in a somewhat low percentage of people can be extremely dangerous. The worst were reports of people having to have liver transplants because of it.

Since the next doctor I would be seeing was Dr. Hall (for the first time), and because this condition falls into his specialty, I decided to postpone taking the medication until I could get his opinion.

After Dr. Hall finished taking care of the main reason I was there, I asked him if he had ever had any problems with the medication (Terbinafine). He said, ”No, I have not.” Then he looked at my fingernails and quickly said, “You do not have fingernail fungus.” I was both astonished and relieved. He went on to say, “You have… (some long medical term), which is caused by habitually picking on your fingernail cuticles.” I had been doing that very thing for years! He said, “If you can stop, your nails will clear up.”

I assume that I was probably motivated by vanity since it looked so bad, I almost instantly stopped picking them. I was a tiny bit skeptical at first, but over a few weeks as the nails grew, I noticed that healthy nails were growing out at my cuticles. After several months, my nails were completely cleared up! I had not seen my nails looking that good in years! I was thrilled!

I proudly and enthusiastically showed my “new” nails to Dr. Hall at my next visit. It was a gratifying and fun moment. Now every time I go there, I cannot resist showing him my fingernails again.

I highly recommend Dr. Hall.

Waited for almost 2 months to see him. On the day of the appointment, waited almost an hour, and when he finally saw me, he looked at my melasma, talked so fast like he was in a hurry. He was already walking away and I was still talking asking him questions. Total time spent with me: 3 minutes. He is an arrogant prick, talks like he's almighty, acts like a diva. DON'T GO TO THIS JERK. It is not worth the wait.

Visited Dr Clifton Hall last year for a lesion on my lower back. He wrote a prescription for a very expensive salve that my insurance company would not ultimately approve and sent me on my way. Another doctor this year asked me about the same lesion and did a biopsy on it. It was identified as squamous cell carcinoma now invasive. Had this doctor done his job last year I would not be facing the possibility that this cancer has now spread given 1 year undiagnosed. Visit this dermatologist at your own risk!

I have had numerous basal cell cancers removed by 4 different Doctors. Dr. Hall was recommended by other Dr.s and neighbors and I am very pleased. I recommend him to anyone.

I had a growth on my face that I had had for years. My wife insisted that I have it removed. I went down expecting to be there for hours. To my pleasant surprise I was in and out in less than an hour and my growth was removed and there is no trace of it on my face. Thank you Dr. Hall

I wish I could give him a negative. Impolite, condisending, arrogant (in my opinion). I would never recommend and certainly never go back. The nurse and staff seemed very nice.
