The only reason I didn’t do 1 star is because the employee interaction I had was the only positive thing about my selling experience here. I walked in with a bag full of items (doc martens, converse, vans, shirts, totes, etc all in new/good condition). I came back an hour later where they offered me $19 to buy brand new doc martens, converse, and a couple shirts which is WILD. Especially when I know they’re just going to mark the products up. They say that they pay 30% of the items value and that’s just insanely false. Definitely won’t be selling/buying from here again.

Very cool secondhand clothing shop experience. Parking is in the back as it's on a main road. Great selection for small to average sizes. Tall, curvy, or plus sized women won't find much here. Not many purses, wallets, belts, or shoes as they focus mainly on clothing. They have a designer rack which is very nice that's it's separate. Fitting rooms ARE open for use (surprisingly some places are not still due to COVID). Cute place and I plan to return next time I'm in Tampa.

Horrible offers on expensive clothing. Don't believe their website . They will rip you off to line their own pocket. They offered me $30 for $300 pants brand new w tags. They say they offer 50% for designer brands , but the owner will low-ball and say it's going to be hard to sell. They gave me 10 dollars for a $160 Moschino bathing suit. Just sell on FB market place. This was a waste of 40 minutes and gas

Avalon is an ~Amazing~ thrift/ consignment store. They have a wide range of accessories from funky sunglasses to bold rings and patterned socks. The store is very clean and decorated with funky colors and one of a kind mannequins. They offer drop offs for store credit or cash ?! Also about half the store is dedicated to men’s clothes / shoes so they truly have something for everyone! Both new clothes worn tags and vintage finds (even name brands)!

edit: went in today to sell clothes after I stopped by another thrift store in the area since my review, no it’s not like what it used to be yearsss ago but I think it’s worth a visit. They took a considerate amount of my clothes and I ended up leaving with a purchase and some cash. Everyone there was super nice. Maybe I came in on a bad day last time it happens. still lots of fast fashion that was weirdly overpriced but they had a handful of good steals as well 🙂

Paid me really fairly for my lower end vintage that I was struggling to sell online (between $5-10 per piece). Probably would avoid taking higher end stuff here but if you’re just looking to sell mids it’s very much worth it.

I liked the wide variety and cute finds. A little over priced for second hand. I got three skirts and a dress and it was $55. Employees just kinda ignore you until you need something which is fine by me

My trans friend and I recently came through and they felt really safe shopping there vs other stores. She was able to try on stuff without judgment. Wish there was more plus sizes and less fast fashion. Besides that all the employees were welcoming and it was super busy but they were still on top of it all.
