Closing an hour early with 10-20 people still in the store CUTTENTLY.

After a moment they corrected to say they’re just closing the fitting rooms an hour early for cleaning but no one was cleaning them….

I’ve been shopping for an hour for them to then tell me I can’t try anything on… and they’re closing an hour early…. I’ve been shopping at Platoes Closet for YEARS! Never heard this before. Quite upset.

To buy things I love this place, good prices and beautiful items!

As a seller, it is not worth it. They don’t check well the items. I gave them new Disney hats, and different items that were new/not used, and I only received $10. They have a black baby yoda hat that looks used and my new Disney hats still have the tags. Don’t waste your time selling here only buying.

Great place to thrift! I just wish there was an option to have bins with extra clothes out in the open for us to look further into. Sometimes the inventory is a bit restricted by how much we can view and I understand they also evolve with seasons changing but if there are extra clothes in bins just sitting on the side an not out yet, it would be nice to view more since the store isn’t as big

I had a lot of clothes to sell to them after cleaning up closet. I had the clothes in a very large trash bag and they refused to accept it saying that the clothes needs to be brought in a container or a box. How would I know that There is no info on their website in relations to that. This was my second time bringing in the clothes for sale. The first time it was at the different location and they accepted clothes from the trash bag.

It might happen that different stores have different rules but think of your customers how would you let them know about your rules and requirements?! I drove 30 min to the store just to be turned down.

Very dissatisfied.

Has a huge bad full of designer shoes and they wouldn't take any of them due to having very very small imperfections when I walked around the store I saw shows that were literally flaking and I'm way worse condition mine were in. I was asked to check in upon arrival and come back when I get a text or something. So a few hours goes by and nothing so I went back before they closed and the girl told me that they never checked my stuff in and to do it again. So I did and she didn't even to take the shoes out of the bag. I had very gently used DKNY boots, aldo wedges that still has the price on the. Bottom of them never worn, and quite a few other designer items. She didn't even take them out the bag and told me she couldn't take them. I looked around the store and saw items that were in WAYYYY worse condition than mine.. never going to step foot in one again they SUCK!!!

I went in there today looking for a Halloween costume, they had so many options! I even saw a costume from a recent anime show, so it seems like they do a good job of keeping up with the trends. I don’t experience that at other Plato locations. Fabiola was super helpful and attentive! I will be back❤️

I don’t get bad reviews. I always have a good experience when I shop here. Managers are great and super kind. Buy process is also very simple. I’ve always made money when I sell my clothes.

I called yesterday evening to verify what items they are accepting right now and also that they stop buy ins at 8pm.
I called in the morning the next day to verify if they are accepting winter clothes.
After I get off work at 7:00pm, I drive 45 mins to hurry up and make sure I make it there before 8pm.
I arrive at platos to be informed that they are not accepting anymore buy ins after a 45 min drive from Haines City. Very upset. Horrible customer service.
